“Reservoir Engineering” merupakan cabang dari “Petroleum Engineering” dengan tugas utamanya adalah peramalan kelakuan reservoir, laju produksi dan jumlah minyak atau gas yang dapat diproduksikan dari suatu sumur, sekelompok sumur, ataupun dari seluruh reservoir, di masa datang berdasarkan anggapan-anggapan yang mungkin, ataupun dari sejarah masa lalunya yang sudah ada.

Water Drive

Metode perhitungan yg digunakan untuk mengetahui water drive strong atau weak, adalah dengan menggunakan material balance method. Saya ada contoh perhitungannya dalam excel (kalo tertarik bisa contact saya via Japri). Untuk menghitung aquifer size volume, ada beberapa method yg bisa dipakai spt : dengan metode Fetkovich atau Carter Tracy. Observasi yg paling sederhana untuk mengetahui apakah water drive yg ada di reservoir kita strong atau weak adalah dengan melihat reservoir pressure trend dan kandungan water cut setelah reservoir kita produksikan.

Clay Problem on Producer Well ( Onshore)

Saya ada bermasalah dengan sumur yang penuh dengan clay. Saya belum bisa memastikan tipe clay yang ada karena belum dilakukan clay test lab. Kita sudah melakukan langkah berikut di bawah dan pada attachment..tapi clay nya masih banyak dalm fluid circualtion, sehingga kita susah melakukan pekerjaan dalam sumur tsb. Kondisi sumur tsb sudah mati.. Mungkin bapak-bapak atau temen-temn punya saran, operasi atau pemakaian chemical lain..?

Parameter Umur LPG Storage Tank

Parameter umur yang paling sederhana adalah siklus pengisian Pak (kompresi-dekompresi). Misalkan lifetime tabung adalah 1000 siklus. Kalau diisi seminggu sekali maka umurnya adalah: 1000 siklus / (52 siklus/tahun) = 19.2 tahun. Angka2 ini cuma ilustrasi saja. Untuk lebih detail harus ada kalkulasi kekuatan dan data jenis material. Tanpa itu mustahil bisa ditentukan sisa umurnya.

Gas Lift

Gas Lift adalah salah satu teknik EOR (enhanced oil recovery). Saat produksi sumur menurun dan produksi air meningkat, tekanan dari reservoir sudah tidak mampu melawan tekanan hidrostatik di tubing sehingga produksi minyak sulit mencapai ke permukaan. Gas lift akan menurunkan berat jenis cairan sehingga tekanan hidrostatik di tubing pun turun, sehingga membantu produksi minyak ke permukaan.

The Used officially formed in January 2001 [ 6 ] , but members had played in many previous bands since the early 1990s, which helped lead to the formation of The Used. In 2004 lead singer Bert McCracken's ex-girlfriend, who was pregnant with his child, died of a drug overdose. Bring Me the Horizon began in 2004 with members of many defunct bands from around their local area. While on tour in the United Kingdom allegations were made against vocalist Oliver Sykes that he urinated upon and then assaulted a female fan after a gig at Nottingham Rock City when she allegedly refused his sexual advances.
